Eiffel Tower Ornaments!

Eiffel Towers!

Eiffel Towers!

The lovely Lisa Brunetta has made us three dimensional Eiffel tower ornaments. They are available in sets of three and created from multiple lovely papers! These are to replace the metal ones I buy when in Paris until I can make another trip! (besides, these are way better for being local) Lots of colour sets to choose from too.

I Heart Hats February 2014

That’s right. It’s that time of year again! We’ll have french hot chocolate for your enjoyment and the ever popular “orphaned hats” pram with lonely lovely hats waiting for you to take them home. There might even be cookies.

We hope to see you there!

Gents, We Have Your Corner.

Gents, We Have Your Corner.

While neither of us has managed to blog in a while there has been a good reason for it. Between a marvelously busy holiday season, working with a fantastic company to rebuild our website, revamping the men’s section and selection, and building a new work room there has hardly been time for a day off.

Gents' Corner

Don’t forget that our “I Heart Hats” trunk sale is coming up. This year it will be Thursday February 13. There will be french hot chocolate, 20% to 80% off everything in store and the orphan hats pram containing lonely lovely hats just waiting for you to take them home. We hope to see you there!

Cheers,
Sara and Meaghan.

I don’t often make an all black hat but…

DSC05459

I will and have often said I won’t make an all black hat but in the case of using this wonderful black silk organdy I made an exception.

The soft architectural nature of this fabric lets most wonderful things happen.

Sometimes simplicity is best.

p.s

As of Nov 27th 2013 the hat is in the shop and under $100 CAD

Hallow’een!

Sara dressed as a confused bunny for this year.

The tail view and the close-up on her ears made from her hair and a lot of hairspray.

I went as a raccoon. I took off my black gloves to work and I was a

raccoon because I have a lot of black and grey clothes.

My boyfriend didn’t notice my black mask of makeup in the morning and customers

seemed confused as somehow all hallow’een fun is just for kids. Well it’s not.

I don’t have children and I love dressing up!

Spring Is Coming, Have You Got Your Hat?

Meaghan has redesigned everything for Spring/Summer this year. Au revoir Garden Party and Masher Hat, bonjour Riviera and Picnic Hat. We are in the process of sewing them up right now and there are only the two of us doing it. So expect to see them on the floor and ready for you to take home in April.

Cheers.
